Our founder, Brooke (affectionately known as Chookii since childhood) was an Australian bride tying the knot in Las Vegas. She wanted to gift her wedding guests, most of whom had travelled from around the world, something fun, functional, and full of heart. Not just a souvenir, but a stylish, wearable hat infused with the electric energy of the destination.
When nothing on the market quite captured the spirit Brooke imagined, she made her own: A trucker hat inspired by the old skool nostalgia and neon lights of Las Vegas.
The hats were a winner and it wasn’t long before strangers on the Strip, poolside guests and late-night revellers were all asking where they could purchase one of their own.
What began as a stylish keepsake has since evolved into a growing collection, with each hat a tribute to the cities we call home, the places we explore, and the travels that connect us.
As a seasoned traveller with a taste for the finer things, Brooke strolls high streets, loves a luxe hotel, savours very dirty martinis, and is often found beachside — always with a curated collection of Chookii hats in tow. Each bold design turns heads and sparks conversation.
